Web is not a very safe place, big brothers all over from giant companies  and government watching  your each and every step.  It is very easy to them to track your every activity, what you browse, what you search, to whom you chat. So TOR project appear as a life saver to this problem. TOR is free and open source client and a free and open network which provide protection from network surveillance which hijack your privacy and anonymity. TOR can also be used to bypass internet censorship. TOR use It is an implementation of onion routing, which encrypts and then randomly bounces communications through a network of relays run by volunteers around the globe.  TOR is developed by The Tor Project  and its network is maintained by volunteers from all around the globe.

Scope and use of TOR is very wide, we will discuss here only  its simplest implementation, using which we can protect our privacy and circumvent internet censorship. TOR Bundle from the TOR project is complete suit for anonymity and anti-censorship. Using TOR Bundle

Using tor bundle is very easy and same on Linux as well as windows. You just have to extract the downloaded archive and click on the start-Tor-browser icon. For Linux it come in .tar format and for windows it come in self extracting executable format.
